Team Spotlight: Debie Sepetkova

We’re proud to share that Debie Sepetkova has been promoted to Marketing & Communications Manager! 🌟

Debie first joined Pure in 2021 as a Social Media Manager while completing her Master’s at LSE. After returning from a second Master’s at USC in Los Angeles, she rejoined the team in late 2023 as Marketing Coordinator and hit the ground running.

In just under 2 years, she has rebuilt and relaunched our website, created a new visual identity for our brand, and rolled out a multi-channel marketing strategy across 10+ platforms. She has also designed and submitted 27 award entries for Pure.

We sat down with Debie to hear more about her journey so far.

 
 
 

Q&A With Debie

What have been your top 3 achievements at Pure?

 

  1. Winning 9 industry awards for outstanding events and Pure’s sustainability initiatives
  2. Tripling our LinkedIn impressions and driving 4x more traffic to our website
  3. Creating and implementing an efficient marketing strategy that improved workflow and ensured consistent messaging across all channels

 

What do you like most about your role at Pure?

 

I love the diversity of what I get to do. No two days are ever the same. From shaping messaging to building content strategies, I’ve had the freedom to be creative and the trust to lead projects independently. I especially enjoy turning our team’s brilliant work into stories that resonate, whether that’s through social, email or awards. And hearing from clients and industry peers that our brand presence stands out? That’s always a great feeling.

 

What’s been your favourite client project you’ve delivered?

 

I managed a comprehensive email comms campaign for one of our key clients’ inaugural media conference, targeting 300 C-suite executives from leading brands like L’Oréal, Meta, Airbnb, and TikTok. The campaign drove strong engagement and contributed to our exceeding the attendance goal for the event. The conference then went on to win three industry awards and secured us a contract for the following year! 

 

What has been your favourite internal project you’ve delivered?

 

One of my favourite projects has been developing a messaging strategy focused on our team and community. This involves regularly spotlighting suppliers and team members to highlight their contributions and creating the Pure Partners Club, a space for our clients to connect, share knowledge, and build cross-sector relationships. It’s been great to bring everyone together and showcase the people behind our success.

 

What was the biggest challenge you’ve faced and how did you overcome it?

 

Rebuilding our website from scratch with no prior web design experience was definitely the biggest challenge. I had to learn everything on the go, spending hours battling WordPress and problem-solving in real time. But it was incredibly rewarding to take the project from concept to launch, introduce new features, and create a platform that clearly showcases what we do and how we deliver it.
