A Global Strategist with a PR’s sensibility, James’ work lobbying for change at board level cleared a path for him to radically reposition Rolls-Royce’s brand message. He now acts as a strategist and spokesperson for some of the most admired companies and individuals in the world and is proud to apply this experience to shaping and activating brand messages for the PURE Communications Group.

Most memorable event experience?

Securing and delivering the first visit of a serving British Prime Minister to the HQ of an institutional British brand. Also, watching the brother of a rival square-up to the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion in a packed gym during a press call. He didn’t flinch…. I did. 

Bucket list destination?

To count the penguins in Antarctica. 

Party trick or random fact?

A very fortunate set of work circumstances meant I once spent part of Christmas and New Year at the pleasure of the Maharaja of Jodhpur for his private polo tournament. It was the most extraordinary and surreal week of my life.
